Right you are sir. Were you the one that got the hair burned off? We really appreciate all the help - this thing has taken us twice as long, and atleast twice as much work as we though it would.
Got my camping registration in the mail yesterday, My Number is 6820... this is what ill be driving. its had some small changes though.
What the caddy lac man won't be drivin the caddy oh man.Ok i'll let it slide now here's my big question what HAMBer bands will be playing in the city's that weekend
I'll be there with my pickup. We usually park on the furthest street to the east - parallel with Snelling and right around the "women's center" building. Hope to meet a few of you in person. Most likely I'll be parked next to my buddy Ric's '32 panel - you can't miss that one. Dewey
cboy. . . you REALLY should haul your *** up here in your roadster... while some will chuckle, laugh it off. . . it really is a great piece of workmanship.
Maybe NEXT year. Still needs a lot more "short run" miles on it before I'll feel comfortable driving it to MN. Sure would be fun though. Dewey
If I got time off from work I'll be driving either one of Lance's vehicles since we should have em both on the road by then...missed BTT50's the last 2 years because of other ****, trying to get it scheduled into my PTO at work this year ahead of time...hopefully 2007 I'll have the g***er there, we'll have to wait and see... Detonators -CC- Twin Cities
the 57 has been runnin sweeeet. fear its gonna be a ****shoot to get the 55 there again though. gonna need a few days putz'n on. sorry johnny, wifee drove the 57 the other day, i had to pry her off the wheel, she wanted to leave me with the kid and put some miles on and i hadnt fixed the charging yet, but now its good to go. she probaly knaw your arm off i think for the opportunity to drive it....hahaha
I think I could take her down...I might get a few scratches along the way, but it's all worth it...I'm just kidding, I wouldn't mind cruising one of your rides around Uni during the 50's show weekend though, or even North St. Paul...get both your vehicles, Scott's Olds, and Mikey's Effie (if it's ready) and have a little club cruise...
I'll be there in my T and some guys from the club will be there too. I'm not sure how many will have cars, but we're local so we'll all be there anyway.
http://autos.ph.groups.yahoo.com/group/mnratrods/photos/view/a627?b= I'll be there for sure in my 50 Dodge PU and maybe I'll even get the Ford there by then. I like to park away from most of the others so I can get in and out quick without getting stuck in the whole 20 minute parade just to get out of the fairgrounds.
Here's a pic of my T. Stop me and say hey if you see me. It will look a little different than this, but not much.
I'll be there too! Can't wait for the swap. Still need parts for both 26 T coupes; stocker and street rod.
Thought I'd try the pictures again. I'll most likely be in the Dodge but you never know what the status of the Ford will be by then. If you see either of 'em there or around town anytime stop by and say "Hi." Jay
Man, it pissed me off to no end last year driving down I-35 on Thursday afternoon/night and seeing all the *****in customs and hot rods coming up from Iowa, Missouri,etc...I watched them all streaming by in the northbound lane, knowing full well my entire weekend would be spent down in Missouri stuffed into a tux for a damned wedding...I'll be damned if I'm ever going to do that again...
Ok changed my mind. lifes too short to miss this show & all the people there!! I will be smoke'n the cloves. whos all camping? is anybody going to the south campground, or is everyone going back to the north camp ground? I cant wait!!
with the exception of some new tires,a mexi blanket front seat and if ive got time some striping on the deck lid this is what blacksteelies and i should roll in with late thursday night tim
I thought I was going to have to miss most of it for the 1st time in 30 years due to my work schedule, but I got let go a couple of weeks ago instead. Kind of a blessing in disguise! I'll have my 40 there. We park up on the north end, by the rod repair shop. I'll probably be parked next to a bright blue 50's style Deuce 5w highboy. Shawn
