Back to the beach was a great show. Great line up of cars. Jenny did a great job of getting it together. Me and John had a blast getting his coupe ready to make the drive. Nothing like a 5 hour madden voyage to break in a hot rod. Special thanks to bad bob and company for coming by and saying hi and getting us to sign his banner. For a bunch of guy who talk s*@T on the computer you sure are nice and have bitchen rides. Jeff
What hapened on the way back, I saw you from the corner of my eye on the 101 but had no chance to pull over on that damb 5 lane freeway.
Man I love those Buicks. The blue and the yellow ones. Does anyone know what the year models are for sure? I'm guessing 50-52 somewhere in there. I have found one and was wondering if anyone has any pointers.. Didn't mean to hijack your thread, some great pictures, they reminded me of that car and I need to figure out a way to drag it home. Thanks!
The fuel pump went out, it was clogged. We were on the side of the road for about 20 minutes till we figured it out. A quick hit with the wrench and back on the road. We got back to San Diego and spent all day Sunday and Monday working out the kinks of the rod. It was kind of crazy to bring out that car without really test driving it over 20 minutes but the rod is now alive and driving!
Got the flier smack dab in the middle of my fridge. (Little girl is pissed because I tossed away her kindergarten project... oh well)
