  3. Looks like they made at least one 1942 Woody. This pic showed up in one of @AVater 's posts on the recent "Hershey Still The Best" thread. Lettering on the driver's door indicates this was in service with the U.S. Navy but it looks pretty well dressed up, more like a civilian model.

    Did some tune up work to it. Got some nice patina Washington 1942 plates for it. Yanked the spaghetti noodle battery cables off and used #00 welding wire and made new cables. Added missing straps between frame and motor. And she spins over like a top now.
    Took it out for its first drive and she’s a gem. Lots of lookers and even made an old guy crash into a garbage can as he gawked at the car and not where he was going. lol.

    friend even gave me a fully restored wonderbar radio for it as a gift.

    I am definitely liking the running and driving project vs a full build.
