   Nope, reused the cap and plastic rotor, it was the advance mechanism.

   I actually got to talk to the guy who gave me the HEI in the first place. Seems this one came from a SCCA car and may have different advance springs. So I'm going to check them against the HEI I have now, just a bit more info for anyone following along.
