Any suggestions for a good look on a 50 dodge coupe probably go with a chrome reverse ,Not sure on the spacing though. Any info. will help./ thanks..
Here's some from Cody's thread: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=97529 You could always put tires on the wheels you've got and run caps. I'll have to talk you into some wide whites on that thing. I could always hook you up with some cheap trim rings from napa
Not sure about the 50 but I believe they a similar i dimensions to mine (46) The wheels are interchangable so lets assume they are closer rather than different. As such you are limited to 3 3/4 back space. This is due more to interference with the spring than the body work. I got some steel smoothies from Wheelvintiques. They are 5 x 15 with a 3.5 inch backspace. They have dual bolt patern for ford mopar and gm. I think they were about about 37 buck ea from Summit (actuall less than from wheel vintiques)
depends on what body your car is, but most of these era Mopars (I have a 50 Dodge also) the wheels sit to the outside of the wheel well, allowing lots for backspace or narrower rear. Jack the car up by the pumpkin with the wheel off (don't forget the jackstands) put a straight edge on the wheel mounting surface and measure front and rear clearance with a tape measure.
