Thanks...I should have the permanent peices done in a week or so. Hard putting out $200 for a sheet! They have cutoffs,so i'm gonna look for some close to what I need. Save a few bux,at least.

There you go... so you're just gonna use a drop axle in the front and let it sit level. That'll look pretty good... so glad you took that jacked up air ride off the back, the way it set was atrocious! You got a good eye to see past that mess!! ha :D

Gonna get some air shocks so I can load it up. After talking to KiwiSteve and my friend Tony,I decided to go with a Jag front susp. Easy install and great ride.

I agree. The bars on top of the frame and the way they attatched everything was pretty sad. All the stock leaf mounts were cut off,so I just used 3x3,1/4" angle. The back bolts on though,in case it has to be changed later, for pinion angle or whatever.

Gonna start on the panel paint job today after work....so,get ready for all the HATERS!! haha

Everybody at El Mirage loved it! Even had a few guys taking pic's of it. Ran like a top!
BTW-How come the wheels weren't balanced? Had to have all four balanced friday!

You mentioned GREAT mileage. What are we talking, like low 20's?

And are you sure you don't want those guys that killed Blake's truck to do your front end? Ha!

Tall Paul did a thread on it,and a few guys posted their installs, but I think I can do a good tech on all that's necessary to convert over. I did some homework on it last night. Looks pretty easy. I'll probably have slddnmatt help me. That ****er can do anything!!!

HELL YES!!! I was getting ready to just make one. I'd much rather just cut the old **** out and put a stock one on. PM me the details and we can get that thing shipped to me.

The tank and bags say Firestone on them, but no markings on the compressor. I have a sale pending...I'll let you know if it doesn't go through.

Painted the dash panel Roth Blue Balls flake today and put the door handles back on. Door poppers aren't gonna work. Truck doors never seem to open without using your shoulder. Gonna wire up the gauges and hook up the lights, check out the gas gauge, and start the panel paint, tomorrow. I'll take pic's...

Is it those modern bear claw latches with a big pin to grab onto? Tried once loosening the nut holding the big pin so it could slide around a little. hit the latches a couple of times and it nudged the pin just into the right spot.

    And so....the madness begins!!!!
Only took an hour to tape it out,and spray it. Can't even tell it's flake at night. Looked great in the sun, before I left the shop.Looks pretty close to my first drawing...

This is the best I could do with the flash. I'll get a better shot in the sunlight tomorrow.
