After a long build process and over 2 months in upholstery I got my '51 Merc back yesterday and scheduled an alignment this AM. When it was finished we took it for a test drive. Went 6 blocks when a guy in a pick up turned in front of me. Result smashed front end that will need DE Soto teeth plus a complete repaint due to custom Hot Hues mix,a fender, bumper, hood, etc. Looks like $20k and a bunch more time. Damn!

Man, that stinks. I bought two 49-51 merc front fenders from mercury land 2 years ago.
www.mercuryland.com. Give them a try. They might have your other parts too. I have right and left inner fender panels off my 51 merc if you need them. PM me if interested.
Also have 51 Merc Monterey front bumper with brackets. I wish you all the best. Hope the guy had insurance.

Sorry for your bad luck. I would be interested to know who your insurance Co. is and how they handle this with you.

Pictures? I know you probably don't want to see right now but I always like to see how older vehicles hold up in accidents.
