Bad day in the GMC need help w/ parts

NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooo...[sob]...Chris, that's always been my very favoritist truck in the entire world..almost. If you'd have taken my generous trade offer [the 55 ford I sold ya] it wouldn't have been in the path of the cavalier-idiot. Damn...I hate to see it.
I gotta good buddy who's building a 59, using a 56 front clip but with the difficulties he's had collecting all the 55-56 chrome grille parts I really doubt he'll ever sell any of his parts...I'll ask tho.

I also own a 56 GMC "Frances" and she is part of the family...



I have had good luck with Ecklers and LMC and I will call a friend that has a 56 GMC Parts truck to see what he has left of it.

Thanks to all the HAMB guys I found most everything but need a right door, the fender slid back and crushed the inner skin. I want to find an original GM door, if you have any ideas let me know

I know A GUY IN Lubbock Texas has a couple of few door, Dry there , so no rust.

That ain't the best side of the truck I got anyways thou. (I saw filler under the ten coats oa paint) I bought a vortec conversion for it too.

 

Damn!!!!!!!!!! This is one I wish I didnt see I freakin love that truck!I hope its coming along ok and you didnt get seriously hurt. I will say Iam gonna consider moving my my keyswitch now!
