I'm aware of that, but this runs at 135 in 100 degree weather all day. The grill is defiantly restrictive but it still lets the electric fan suck in air. No hood or side skirts help too, but you never know. I have to tack in some plates to screw it in, then Ill test it out.
I like it on a old build like that. Maybe paint black on the lower red parts under the radiator, when you paint the grille.
like it just like that throw some clear on that bad boy and rock it...If you change your mind you can paint it black later...
Well the gauge works, we tried a diffrent one since we thought it was broken. I think we replaced the sensor too. I will let you guys know if the temp rises any with the new grill. f&j- Yes, were defiantly gonna paint that part black. The red doesn't look good back there.
i think if you paint it a flat satin black, you will not have to paint the frame.. you wont notice.. i could be wrong but i would go ahead and paint the shell first before going at the frame, thats just me. by the way, what engine are you running, and what did you use for the blinkers on the shell?
Yeah, I'll defiantly paint the inner shell, but not to sure what Ill do about the visible frame part. It's a old corvette 355. For blinkers I just have to small lights on both sides of the grill shell. Look to the right of the left headlight. It is almost worthless..
Sucks losing it that way. Ihate to say, but the mesh just isn't working for me. I'd be willing to put one of these together for you: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=568502
