el polacko and littleman are in a tie for baddest, In my own personal opinion. Its only a tie because they are different in so many ways, but both *****in!

Lots of awesome trucks on here though, and Im glad P'N'B's farmtruck made it into this post, it shows you can have alot of fun with some parts you can find for cheap

60's not 50's and a 427 with twin turbos got the job done. Bad to the bone truck for sure!

The deciding factor is subjective,we all have different taste and this thread has offered some nice trucks but I make the determination based solely on the idea of ,would I be able to drive it on a daily basis and the answer to most shown is no.

The '32-'34 hiboy trucks appeal to me.

BTW,I am from the old school where we said the best or coolest.:D HRP

After hearing your start up video, I would say yours is definately a contender. That is a pretty rowdy blown bb.

I'm old school, to me bad is bad, and you better be able to back it up with a time slip. There's nice trucks, there's beautiful trucks, there's practical trucks, there's cool trucks, then there's bad. Bad is bad. And slow ain't it.

Shameless plug for my buddy Rich Robert's car hauler. This one goes toward what FrozenMerc said, something pretty killer about a truck that can do a job and look *****in' doing it. The fact that he built it to haul around various race cars including a AA/GS '33 Willys then a 5 second Pro Mod '37 Chevy and now an Altered wheel base A/FX Belvadere just makes it that much cooler! image.png

A totally OT one that I saw at the Vintiques NW Nationals in Yakima earlier this month.
High end Task Force truck with all the trinkets and a 1000 hp Dart big block that hit so hard and sounded so mean though the mufflers and out the tail pipes I'd have to think the posers went back and capped their open headers. One of the meanest sounding street engines I have ever heard.

When I started this post,i was referring to trucks that had the look, sound, and were on the street but gave you the perception that would lite their tires on fire at the start of a green lite.A (HOT ROD).Yes there ar a lot of nice trucks out there and I like most. Sorry if I didn't explain myself correctly. Exterminator

I have done some street racing in my time (sometimes even for money) and perception doesnt count for ****.
Perception comes cheap, and paints a big-*** target on your back in the circles I've travelled in. Those that do this immediately know the difference between sizzle and steak, and if its all sizzle, then when the unwashed m***es gather and are oohing and aweing, we smell blood in the water. Its a lot easier to back a guy that has been playing to the crowd into a corner where he has to open his wallet and hand a c note to a bagman, and then boy, you had better have the steak.

Not the baddest by any means, but the power-to-weight ratio, coupled with short wheelbase, made it a blast to drive. Sold it last November to fund the purchase of my '40.

Thanks, when I took it to the nostalgia drags to drive it a bit, it was great. To see your fellow racers (serious gear heads) stop and turn to look, you know you did good in the eyes of people that get it. It should be a fun driver.

Just a little shameless self promotion - adding to my previous self promotion
We added injected on alcohol to the blown 406 and damn near turned it inside out at Meltdown.

The Scout went 9.78 / 138 with more in it...
Dare I say it ?... Dare I risk looking pompous and arrogant ? ... Oh what the hell...

Thank you Dan Ricks and Chadly Johnson for the pics

Different category than what you guys are posting, and maybe movies aren't the same as the drag strip, but one of the best sounding trucks on film has got to be El Wray's Killdozer. Nothing says BAD like mowing down zombies in a rusty Corn Binder with a push bar.

As for that Thing that started this thread - It's "Bad" all right, but not in a Good way in my book.
