Customs **BadLuck 52 Part 2- Paint**

Man your car is smooth. I like that you left some chrome on it. I was looking at some of the older pics, I like the silver with the scallops too. I couldn't completely tell from the pics but the silver looked satin, what kind of paint was it?

 

thanks so much.. yeah i really liked the silver too.. but needed a change.. the silver was satin.. basically basecoat paint without clear... so you can get the same results shooting a basecoat.. my silver was a metallic too.

i know huh! i still have a lot of loose ends to finish.. chop the vent windows, gl***, interior, gauges, etc so im sure i can stay busy with it for another year.. but i do have a 51 harley in the works next

wanted to thank everybody for all the positive comments.. really helped to keep me motivated.. i probably wont have too many updates to report for awhile.. interior and gl*** are next.. still have to re locate my exhaust so i can run my skirts... I'm working on my Pontiac beltline trim this weekend..I'll post a pic of that when I'm done... but for the most part its not very exciting stuff, weatherstrip.. rubber bumpers etc.. thanks again everybody for the support

 

I like the route this car has taken... Are you gonna do pencil tips?

Turned out fantastic!!! I'm still looking forward to seeing it with the interior done, the gl*** in it and the Pontiac beltline trim...all those fun details! It has been awesome following along on the build!!! Very inspiring!

 

heres a pic of my Pontiac trim.. cant put on the rear yet until the rear gl*** and rubber are installed.. also installed my new rockers..

Man, this pic is really cool.. Just what i needed today to get me out to the garage..

 

Seeing all the progress on your hardtop over the years makes me feel ashamed about how little I get done on my 52. I finished the air bags last year with the help of slicknapier but since then my progress went back to zero! I got to get moving maybe one day I can roll out to so cal and get to hang with you guys! Keep the pics coming cause its helping inspire me again
