I just came across this thread. How is their magnetic brake? I saw it in the catalog and thought you could do all kinds of cool **** with something like that. What size did you buy? Is it 110 or 220? What gauge will it bend?

    Thanks

Panels in the process of being made with Baileigh equipment.

I made a straight edge guide for the bead roller too.

It's support for that piece of flat steel that is set up to act as a guide fence in order to get a straight line running panels through the rollers.

Without this equipment and the quality of this equipment,my job becomes 10x harder. If your thinking of equipment upgrading ,talk to Shane at Baileigh .I cant speak highly enough about the equipment.

Pictures are freshly made body sides for a project.

Using the Baleigh Strecher/Shrinker, Bead Roller and Magnetic Brake, the metal surgeon was able to make this inner door structure for a project in the work shop. The job required taking an original door and redesigning the existing door stucture from the wheel well arch, to a straight profile. The door will now be used as a suicide door hinging before the rear tire, eliminating the need for the "wheel" arch. Watch for more on the Door skin using the Baleigh equipment.

You do some nice work but being from Coventry UK with the tradition of coachbuilding going back generations there you must have had some great craftsmen to learn from. We are lucky here in the UK that the traditional skills were kept alive. Bailey machines seem to do the job!.
