It ran Baja for a few years, I can't find my RnC which had a write up on it. The color pic from the "Just A Car Guy" blog, I couldn't get the Facebook page to work for me. Who else remembers this cool beater?!

Think it was featured as a long story in one of the R&C Qtrlys, after R&C died the 1st time. Thinking ~early 70's. One other possibility is the 3rd or 4th FORD book by Peterson. My mags aren't handy. Was a good write-up, esp the part about breaking a rear axle(iirc) & having to "create" used gearoil holders, read: empty coors cans - which had to be emptied 1st. :D .

I remember reading it as a kid:cool:. I went to the Baja 500 a few times in the late 70s . Watching Mickey Thompson in the challenger IV is a lasting memory

I've got the publication that it was featured in... somewhere. I'll take a look in the loft at my shop.
