I have 1950 ford shoebox. Can any one help me decide what brake booster I should use? A under mount or a fire wall mount. I have a mustang II clip with dish brakes. I can really use help on this. Thanks
I have under floor mounted powerbrake unit.I wasnt happy with it,because it sit too low. So i had to modify it.After all the mods i made to that unit,it would been easier to just make my own from scrap. I dont know what kind of fab skills you have, but i suggest that dont spend your money to crap that wont mount properly and make your own.But the easiest and cheapest way could be buying firewall mounted powerbrake unit from junkyard.
Bmendez, typos usually get a pass but those were just too good to ignore. Just funnin', glad at least you got some advice. Here's another bump anyway.
Bake booster, when I first read that my immediate thoughts were mix a little dog dust in your herbs. Firewall mount masters and boosters are cool but they are work. So the question becomes are you willing to convert to hanging peddles or are you the easy squeezy type.
Thanks for your help ,I think I'm going with the under mount booster. Anyone have pictures or info that would really help. sorry on the typo.
Well, there are pics in my build thread of the brake unit and mods i made.. Just click that build thread text below.
