Ballast Resistor

    Does a '63 389 have a ballast resistor? I can't seem to find it if it does.

    it may have a resister wire? if so , it's built into the wire

    others may know for sure

    According to my wiring diagram... it uses a resister wire.

    It has a resistor wire built into the harness,

    Unless you are trying to wire in an aftermarket harness, then it would depend on who made the harness.
