Technical Banger Builders in Australia

Can anyone recommend a Ford Model A Banger builder in Australia? Preference would be for someone in West Oz, but anywhere in Australia would suffice. Looking to rebuild my engine with counter-balanced crank, fully pressurised, inserted bearings, touring cam etc.

Anyone have any recommendations?? Thanks

 

Dandenong rebore were working a banger with insert bearings etc a couple of years ago.

 

Try your Early Ford Club- surely there's some Model A restorers in WA. Colin Smithson here in Vic has a worked banger with OHV in a Model A roadster pickup which can keep up with the flatheads and OHV's on a run. Don't know who built the engine tho.

G'day, Egge Machining in Dookie NE Vic did my 8ba, they are well versed in early engines, when I dropped off the flatty they had 4-5 T model Bangers waiting work. They do babbit bearing's etc, so I'm guessing they would certainly be up for fitting inserts...

They are not too far from here, & if you got excited I could probably do a deal on an A banger block, and drop it off... just a thought.

Glenn, thanks for the offer, and info. I currently have a running A banger, but will be looking to give the engine a freshen up in the future.............so hopefully don't need another block, but will keep that in mind. Thanks.
