Can anyone ID the banjo year? I haven't had a chance to get a measurement from it. I assume 40-42 but figured someone could tell based on wishbones PXL_20240528_154502157.jpg PXL_20240528_154510253.jpg

Solid wheels, so not a 39. No extra boss on the spring hanger, so not a 41.

The general shape and size of wishbones, housings, and torque tube are the same from 37 to 40. Some internal differences include a ten spline pinion up to some time in 38. But you have juice brakes so it would have to be at least 39.

    I still say 1940.

"42 - "48 had a thing on the right side that looks like a modern shock mount stud. Right by the spring hanger. That stud is for the rear sway bar. That sets it apart from the earlier models. Also the pinion to driveshaft coupler is different, 10 spline vs 6 spline.
