My Latest project is to recreate the 1935 Kelly Petillo Indy car. I have the frame rails and front axle. I am in the process of looking for the right rear end. I scored a 1936 Banjo and spring with wide 5 wheels . I will be running the Rudge wheels and hubs. What I would like to know is will the stock rear end stand to road racing with a dohc Model B. I know the car ran an Offy but for now the budget will be limiting my engine choice. Does the 201 Halibrand make this rear end stronger by a large amount? Any one know where I could find a 201? The goal is to build the car and give youth rides at vintage events. Check us out at www.thehubsociety.org James

The Halibrand won't make the rear end any stronger but you will never break it with a DO 4 banger B. Good choice.
