Technical Banjo rear brake lines...

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by JNKYARDDOG_1, Jun 28, 2021.

  1. On my 34 truck build, I am running all NEW brake lines.
How did you run yours for a banjo rear end?
Rubber line down from cross member?
    Down the torque tube?

Two hard lines up the wishbones to a union on the torquetube, just like Henry did it. Rubber from the union to a bracket on the K member, then short steel line to the master.

Here’s what mine looks like^^. Used a bracket from a ‘39 or later Ford that mounts where the radius rods do for the end where the steel lines head to the rear. Left of the picture is to the front of the car

  4. Where did you split your lines?

  5. I may have to look at this route also THNX

Just behind the bracket holing the rear end of the rubber hose. Maybe this pic helps.
