Clear coat and heated garage -- but it had some surface rust to start with . . .

South Omaha Turds Speedster built by Dick Warsocki in the raw on a day of road testing. Kind of a lame picture, it is in the background. It's all shiny black now! ~sololobo~

Stripping my '33 Plymouth now, pretty happy (mostly) with what I've found so far.

Here's the quarter panel and doors.

Whoa, whoa. You can't just post up a secret picture of your show rods and not expect us to want to know more. What's the story on this one?

Edit :: Never mind .. Found the thread.

I live in a high humidity area and I use to use zinc sheet to make panels, I found a product called Henkel 253 it's suppose to be a Loctite company? It's a clear metal prep. I use cold rolled sheet for complex shapes but still use zinc sheet for floors and the like.

Recently I saw a chassis (in Foy Gilmore's shop in Pensacola) that was wiped down with something called Shark Hide. Don't know where you get it but if it works in Pensacola it should work just about anywhere you just re-apply every few months. That thing looked nice!

I like this look. I took this picture at a shoe the day I chpped it 5 inches. The top is just tacked on. I used photoshop to lower it about 3 inches.
