This car has some good cool history and is still owned by the builder which was built from 1958 thru 1962. It is still the way he built it with all the era parts. The car and frames were all bought from a farmer when Pomona was all farm country. His parents owned a Oldsmobile Dealership back then. It has a 1959 Oldsmobile drivetrain bought all new over the counter. Engine was punched out to a 396 with Jahn's Pistons. Engle cam. 1962 Heads ported.Dual quad intake with AFB carbs. All balanced. TH 375 trans. 59 Olds rear end. All chromed. Front suspension is all chromed. It is a 27 All Steel California body with 30 rails. Austin Milk truck steering column. Ansen Steel wheels. All late 50's Stewart warner gauges. Home built headers with mufflers. All late 50's early 60's parts. Black Plate. He built it to race on the dry lake beds and cruise local once in awhile.
