  1. Jay Leno just featured a very nice survivor GTO with a bunch of rare options.

Just now finished reading this whole thread. Very entertaining story to say the least. Learned a bunch as well. The Corvette is very cool. Nice work on that. You've got a super cool Corvette, some hearty farmer friends, some yard art, and a 421 Pontiac Tri-Power for your efforts. Finding the severed hand in the jar is probably a bit too much for a typical barn find.

  3. I have to ask suzzie if she found her hand while clearing the place out. She told me it was in a jar. She described it as looking like a dolls hand. You just can't make this stuff up. Her arm was severed at the shoulder.

  4. The gto I rode in everyday was a lighter gold than that. Almost the color of sand.

  5. Back on the vette. Adjusting brakes today. They are not auto adjusting. The pedal was down some. It's all good for the driving season now. I greased everything while it was up in the air. 20240608_144853.jpg

I lost my wife too, only not in a flood, her name wasn't ID. Sorry.......

  8. I ran into suzzie. I asked about the hand. She did not find it. She thinks her sister has it. Jim and suzzie will both be at the Out of Site drags next weekend. The vette will be there to

  9. That’s hilarious!

a quick hack that works quite well for stripped sheet metal screws is take about an inch and a half piece of a zip tie bend it into a v and bend two short wings push it into the hole the wings keep it from falling in it is surprising how tightyou can put a screw in it

  11. I've used short piece of solid copper wire for same effect too.
