Found a guy that has 6 Hemi's, all are Dodges, 2 - 241's, 2 - 315's, 2 - 325's. There appears to be 4 complete motors and 2 with at least the block and heads, possible cranks too. What's a fair price for this treasure? How desireable are the Dodge hemis?

I'll give him s**** value for them, at $60 apiece. :p

Depends on how solid and complete they are. A group of six mint, running Hemis is worth a lot. Six waterlogged blocks aren't.

But if they're in unknown shape, $3-500ea is pretty fair for stock complete 241s while the 315s and 325s are worth somewhat more.

the 315 and 325's are fine. i have a 315. hot heads has all the parts for them. I think the rod or main bearing size is same as 392. don't remeber but somethig like that. I even have a 2-4 offy intake for my 315 so parts are out there for them

I thought that the 241's were more desireable because they are better proportionally, and fit easier in 20's and 30's cars.

I think your right as that is what is in the Williams Bros. 29 racer featured in #34 of TRJ. It appears to fit like a glove in that little roadster.

they were talking about the engines in general. A lot more speed stuff for the 315/325s, less for the 241. But if your goal is to fit one into a small engine bay, then that might be the best choice. there is a lot of Hemi tech on the HAMB, most is on the Chryslers. Start checking it out & visir www.hothemiheads.com to look at parts.
