A girl I went to school with back in the 80's ask me last month did I know any one that might want a 52 Henry J. She said her mom parked it back in the mid 60's, and had been in the same spot in there barn on the farm since then. She sent me pics., and I had a GREAT interest. Today, 9/07/10, I called her dad and went to take a look. Most solid Henry J I had ever seen, floors, rockers, floor mat, seat covers....only thing that had fallen was the headliner. As you can see by the pics., Roll Back picked it up, I got it home and give it a good outside bath, and pushed it up in the shop. Just out of being wonder, I put it in third gear and pushed a couple of times, she still turns over. Someone had even thought of sticking alum. foil in, and wrapping around the exhaust pipe to keep critters out. I will know in a day or so after I clean a great deal more if she will fire and run.....I'm thinking so.

    Awesome find!
Not a barn find but I just picked up one over the weekend too. It's an early 51 (no trunk/glove box) sitting on a custom gasser frame.

WhooHooo!!! I see another gasser in the works. I had my last drag car in 1969 and within the last month the makings of my "second childhood" almost fell in my lap. Been collecting parts (which also seemed to appear out of nowhere) and now I'm dreaming about the HAMB drags next year.

Did Henry J's come with a BB Chevy or was it a Hemi? I always get them and Willy's mixed up :)
