Thanks man....I grew up around the Henry J racing all over the south, probally until around 74-75 when he sold the car. My mom raced at a local track in Powder Puff cl*** in a 55 Chevy they had until about 70 or so also. Henry J had a 292 c.i. Chevy with a clutch flight ******...55 had a 292 with a 4sp. and a cross ram. Pretty cool child hood I would say.....Pop still raced off and on, and sold parts until he p***ed in 93.....

Couldn't help myself, had to Photoshop it. Couldn't find a solid rear wheel though, sorry 'bout that.

I would like to see one of these things done up as a kustom. I think they could look pretty cool as a sled

Absolutely awesome find! How come everytime I get a call about a barn find that sounds like a cherry, early '30s coupe, it turns out to be a '54 Ford 4dr that's rusted up to the beltline!

Abomination has it right. Spraying Febreze all over will get the smell out. It's the best thing that I've found. Ever notice that every homicide gumshoe smokes old stogies? It doesn't get the smell out, but it covers it enough that they don't lose their lunch.

The pix of your dad's HJ were awesome, too. Keep us posted on yours as it progresses. You've got a great start.

Awesome...Glad to see someone still has the stones to find an old original vehicle and cut it up into the only way they look good. Great Job!!!

Can't see the 55 Chevy...but this is the 292 sbc with crossram it had in it, and a couple Old Pis of the Henry J at the track back in the late 60's. Thought if you liked old pics., these would be cool for you to look at.....
