Hot Rods Barn Find (Sorta)

  1. A motorcycle engine (air cooled for ease of install) like an 750 cc range would be easy enough and provide enough power to do more than 15 mph that a simple B&S type engine would provide.

  2. Many years ago I had a friend that wrecked his Harley so he put the engine in a 48 crosley . It would go like a stripped ass ape but the big problem was keeping it cool. He had it mounted in the rear seat & very little air got back there. It would be parked all over town as it would catch on fire & he would just park it for the night.
Harbor Freight has some pretty nice engines with electric start. I bought one on sale & with the 25 o/o discount it was very cheap. I think it had 13 Hp.

Vintage hit and miss engine or kick start Maytag. Just to keep it traditional.
