It's like a bad wreck that I can't stop looking at. I keep checking in just to see if the pictures ever got posted.
I found a barn once and was driving a Pontiac. Will post pictures later. Hey could the mod change FNG. to something better like chopzilla or Rodman
I found an old barn with a hot rod in it. I asked the farmer how much for it. Farmer says the barn was not for sale, he was going to fix it up some day and give it to the kids.....
That is the deepest covering of bird shit I have ever seen. Can't be many RHD Buicks sitting in barns in NZ!
I found this Barn while out hunting Wabbits. The roof needs replaced but it has the original straw interior and I was stoked to find it still had the numbers matching corral gates and head stantions. I'm gathering parts for a complete frame off..
I FOUND this truck on craigslist. It now sits on the side of my house under a tarp. Maybe someday it'll be a tarp find.
I wish someone could help me figure out why I can't post pictures anymore. I go to "advanced" click on manage attachments...and it won't go to my pictures. So if anybody could help me with this...it would be greatly appreciated. I would like to show you guys a few of the great vehicles I have found in the last 35 yrs. If you would like to see them you can go to my albums. The 48 panhead had 1952 plates on it when I got it from the guy who bought it new. Original paint and the motor has never been apart. The 1919 Indian was found in Texas...on an old mans front porch covered with junk for 60 yrs. I got it running and rode it to a bike show in Hannibal Mo. The 1930 coupe was found in a small town in Mo. in a barn with a surface rust only 1925 T roadster...the ladies that owned them would not sell just the coupe..so I had to buy them both to get the rust free coupe. I hope it doesn't sound like I'm bragging...I am just very happy to have found them and would like to share them with you guys.
4 pages into it and we're still waiting for the guy to post a picture... God help us all, we need a life !!
Ryan is only letting this thread play out because it's good therapy for the inmates of this asylum...
re post #27 Found the Buick in a shhh, don't tell, a "woolshed" way back in the early 90's..Had to fab an inlet manifold for it, wash/waterblast the bird crap off it, pump the tyres and it was on the road..them were the days..
This thread has more pricks than the average porcupine. The guy didn't say he found a Hemi Cuda or a '71 Ragtop Judge, it's a '57 Pontiac 4 door....who the hell would lie about that?
Price of gas increasing, muscle cars sitting on used lots for cheap, original owners getting older and having to shift resources towards family. Take your pick.
Hey thats off topic to talk about. This is a tradional hot rod site. There is other sites if you wish to talk about those cars. lol
Obviously had the Beer Goggles on, & got side tracked weighing all the moth balls instead of taking pictures !
