Wow, what an exciting adventure for you! Sadly, this is going to be more and more common as collectors and guys that were rodders "back in the day" are p***ing away or becoming too old to work on cars anymore. It seems like there is a collection being sold around here every couple months.I think we're just starting to see the first of these stashes of cars.
Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Interesting repair to the radiator. I don't think I've ever seen something like that. There are car guys who enjoy the tinkering more than the finishing. It looks like he had the T-Bird and teh Cutl*** to cruze in, and plenty projects to keep him active.
Damn, you were in the right place at the right time, huh? Sounds like a nice property too! I would KILL to have that old snowblower... my driveway would be a breeze then and I could finally retire that poor old bronco. Damn that's mean lookin!
DMW56...YOU sir. are no gentleman, in fact can you say WEEZEL! come on here and BRAG about such a thing. I truely hope you were just kidding, and if not you need a character implant!...POP.
Yeah right, if you believe I got it for $20, you sir need a brain implant! Besides I said I was was kidding. She knows the value of these car and we made a fair and equitable deal.
Here is a barn find that is one mans fine and keep. He will out live me so maybe one of you boys will come upon it after he is gone.
I got somemore pictures of the 34 I found the steering wheel for it. It's cool! Anyone know what its from? And the Fuzzy Dash!! I cleaned it a little too.
The paint on the sides and fenders isn't too bad. But is getting pretty bad on the back and rumble seat. The next 2 are the rumble seat Underneath.............. Somethings up with these springs!? In back.............
That paint is gonna cost a bundle to fix. You sure you want that OLD CAR? I happen to be a bodyman, wouldn't you rather have a nice 2006 impala? LOL. I happen to have one I'd trade. Nice car BTW.
Maybe you should read the whole thread before you open your mouth and start calling people names. Judging by the quality of most of your post.......... YOU ARE THE ONE THAT NEEDS A CHARACTER IMPLANT
that '34 is pretty cool... But that Ford with the blower... That thing looks like a beast.... I can see it now, cruisin' down the street, all blacked out, with a big, loud, clattering ***mins diesel under the hood... Chewin' up **** boxes and spittin' 'em out on the side walk.... I want it...
Wow! Great find...That Thunderbird is to die for! My grandfather had a 1962 Thunderbird convertible when I was younger. He sold it when I was around 12 years old, I've always wanted one just like it, unfortunately thats one thing I will probably never have the money to own...Make sure it goes to a good home.
I have to laugh at the people who thought you were serious about the $20 and ripped you for it. Like any car guy anywhere with two working brain cells wouldn't whip out a $20 so fast you'd think his wallet just caught fire if that little bit of money would really buy even half the car that '34 is. Hell 1/4 the car even.
Great find! It looks like the main leaf in the front spring pack has lost it's arch. I have wear marks in my Model A axle from the same thing happening a long time ago. Flatman
Nice find and I'm sure wishing that blower was in MD right now!! I like the fire truck too. One thing that caught my eye was the jack stands under the front axle. Aren't they the "collapsable" type? Just want you and your daughter to enjoy your new rides. RB
