Just found the time to get back to the hamb been out of touch .Working like a crazy man on the roadster.I found it interesting that a Kustom 38 Lincoln with a flatmotor and so on sold for a lousy 432.000.00.Man that machine blew all the stockers out of the water..Well done finally the Kustoms get there day and the recognition they deserve.Anybody know what Rick Dores Tangerine Dream sold for......Just curious...being a kustom guy john.stgermain2@sympatico.ca
Who are you and why are you so concerned with the monetary value of cars that few on this board could afford, or even want?
Re: what Rick's car sold for at Barret Jackson...Rick dore told me at the outset of the auction that his tangerine dream car was smashed up pretty bad in transit and confirmed that it did not go across the auction block as a result how about this rumor. The guy who built that flatty V-12 steel Zephyr sold it four a total of $100,000 to four cart "speculators" who then took it to Barrett Jackson and sold it for $400,000. I wonder how many guys a busy building flathead v-12 steel zephyrs for next year right now? Problem is that the dies for the finned V-12 Zephyr heads are crumbling and there are water jacket woes in those heads.

Apparently the owner was not all that angry about the accident and took it all in stride how about this rumor.
