I love the DVD for sure!!! Love the recreation and how they went back to all the original landscapes. I also loved how they look pretty much the same!!

But honestly, my favorite part of this disk is the second disk. Dude, thank you so much for including that thing. The first sections on Hot Rods and seeing them on a big screen let me study them on slow motion or pause for a couple minutes each!!!

Another thing I got out of this DVD was just how common a 4bbl carb was back in the day. It seems when you look in the mags (which is cream of the crop) they did often have multi cars setups but the dvd show that there were a***** load of guys using 4bbl carbs on some really rad cars. I have been recently learning that some guys found Cad carbs to flow so much more then other makes. Cool***** for sure!!!

Thanks everyone for the good words!!! i'm really proud of it and we would not be enjoying this without George and his love for kustom cars and photography.. we owe him
allot!! so to all those lame**** people that give George*****.. look at your self and ask
what have you done to preserve our culture!!! making spiderweb grills with Iron crosses
    dose not count...

And the Dynotones came through.. they busted there**** to get the soundtrack recorded and
    I can't thanks them enough!!!!

Also it looks like the FIRE party at Brad Mastersons / Old Barris Lynwood shop is going
to be a DVD release party as well!!!

I'm stoked Rikster that you of all people enjoyed it..

let me answer some of your coments :D

the sheets were flat when I shot them.. some of the pix were not taped down so some of them were not entirely flat.. and after going through thousands of pix I couldn't tape them all flat..and since there small 3 X 3 pix my camera could only zoom in on them to one point before it got blurry so that was the best I could get them..on top of that not all of George's shots were perfectly in focus too.. the movement was my my artist flavor and trust me I cut allot of out.. I got a little out of control and had to go back and clean it up..
the fish eye is just my style as well.. :D
the logo is on there also know as a "Bug" so if anyone decided to make prints of the stills of the DVD we would know were its from.. just a bit of protection against thieves :D

But either way I appreciate your opinion!!! Thanks Rikster!!!

  5. Love to see the DVD's but since I paid on the 4th, nothings arrived yet.:(

Awesome - was hesitant to invest too much, but after seeing Barris and Vol4, I just ordered everything else. Can't wait for whatever is next.

This is the greatest Dvd that has been put out, of course I like the fifties! George was and still is the greatest, the man that started it all, and a true human. Cann't wait for the next one continueing on from where this last one stopped and into his
present shop and his new style cars and photography, cann't thank him enough for what he taught me about photography, not how to use the camera, as a monkey can do this, but how and where and when to take photos. Lov'Ya George.....Fuzzy

I was actually so lucky that I got to see some of the pictures in real life, when I visited the Barris shop last year.

Watched the film today! I loved it....I am glad that somebody took the time to make a film like this, so that a fantastic collection can be viewed by everyone.

It was so cool to see Brad and George cruisin around in that perfect chevy, checking out the old places. Thank you George and Piero.

I would love to see something from the fireparty and Masterson kustoms in MFS vol.6 :)

    Kenny.
