i have used blue devil and liquid glass in newer cars that people dont have the money to fix right.. even used it in a cadillac eldo with the northstar once and the dude has put 60k miles on it since and no problems. even used it in my 350 that is in my 53 chevy and that was 6 years ago im gonna drive it till it quits and put the brand new motor in.

About 15 years ago, I was on my way from Oklahoma to Wisconsin and I had my radiator in my daily driver blow a small leak at the filler neck where it meets the upper tank. I put that stuff in the system and it got me up there and back a week later, but it did blow back out a few months down the road. Great temporary fix, but I wouldnt use it as a permenant fix.

Yep better known as egg preserver back in the day we used it quite a bit. Have also used black pepper at race track quick fix usually.

  5. You guys do realize GM and other OEMs have used sealers from the factory to do this same thing?

Used something simular in a semi trucks radiator for almost 2 years since the first leak showed up..
recently lost the water pump and realized it was time to bite the bullet and replace the pump and radiator..

Peterbilt 359 with 300HP Cummings the radiator recore and repairs to the lower tank were 1,850 bucks

I'd say i got my moneys worth out of those 2 or 3 little cans of stop leak

I was recommended by my engine builder to run the bars leak head gasket fix in my OT car that lifts the cylinder head at 23lbs of boost and pushes it into the oil. He said just to bypass the heater core for a couple trips and or thrashings. If that fails he say its time for an O-ring Head, But he thinks it will work, i wont doubt him! he hasn't been wrong yet
