...a coupe version of your roadster. :) It looks awesome!

  2. One thing I've noticed about every car you do, Randy, is that they are all TIMELESS.
I hope you and Sue enjoy a LOT of miles in the new coupe :)

You nailed it,,Randy builds cars that don't follow the current trends, just solid dependable hot rods that never seem to go out of style.

This coupe,,, like the roadster will see a lotta miles in the future. HRP

  8. Go to advanced search, set it to search for threads started by the user, put Deuce Roadster in the authors name line, click the ****on and you should find quite a few posts of the build.

Randy: Really like your car, my interior will be very simular. I'm in the body work & paint stage but things are moving slowly. Sure hope I get it done before my kids send me to the home!

Exactly. Really beautiful hot rod you have there.

I vote traditional, black, full-fendered sedan for the next build.

How did I miss this when it was first posted?!!?

The 3wd looks great Randy. All that time & $$$ looks to have been worth it. (Easy for me to say right? It wasn't my time or $$$. :p)

I love it. Can't wait to see it with the new guts in person.

Having seen this car first hand I can attest to the quality of the build. It's pure gold! Great job Deuce, if mine comes out half that nice I'll be elated.

Randy....Very well done , just like everything you do . Congrats , keep up the good work , now go enjoy.......Z.

  20. I am somewhat biased, but you have to see this car in person to truly appreciate it! I saw it Thursday night.

The color of the interior doesn't show as well in pictures as in person, it is truly gorgeous! It is so rich looking, without being overbearing.

The overwheming impression for me was that no one thing stands out on this car, that it all "blends" into a wonderful picture.

And when you consider that it has a ZZ430 in it (like his roadster), I can imagine how well it goes!

I think Deuce Roadster has a few very minor things that he would like to finish, but as someone said in an earlier post, it has all been worth the time and $$$ (easy to say when it's not my time or $$$)!

Randy ... Very *****in' 3wd! ... I agree that they're never really "finished" ... but I can't see anything on yours that doesn't appear to be "done to the nines" ... as others have already stated, a timeless, tastefully done Hot Rod!

PS ... You sure it's a Murray built body? ... looks a bit Canadian to me! ;) :D

Actually, the switches are for the electric SAFETY door locks. :D
With the coupe being a 3W ... the doors open suicide style ... so I installed
a electric door pin poppers in the cowl to secure the doors ... going down the highway
... so they could NOT fly open @ speed.

The coupe has the original hand operated window crank mechanisms :)

    Traditional? Street rod? Hot rod?

Yes....& at the same time, not confused one damn bit. Perfect.

If mine turns out half as good I'll be thrilled.
