Since I'm mounting the battery today. I read in the rules that the Batt. has to be fully enclosed. Is that only if its mounted in the drivers compartment. or what?? I 'm mounting mine on the back of the car, just above the rearend.outside the body. Does it still have to be fully enclosed??? I'm using 1"Angle iron frame both top and bottom with 3/8" threaded rod for hold downs...?????

We put ours an an aluminum box. I do you have a fire wall between you and the battery?

Yes there WILL be a piece of aluminum between the batt. and the back of the seat. Marine box.Sounds like a good idea...
