BC HAMBer's anything going on?

Hey BC HAMBer's is there anything going on in the next few weeks like shows, meets, or whatever. I haven't been to anything in a while so I was just curious.

 

Yeah, really, I'm sure I could talk the missus into another shopping trip there.

 

Or if nothing else is going on, we could get everyone over to my place and get my Biscayne up and running lol

 

Not too much happenin on the island, hopefully pickin up a 64 galaxie wagon tonite, right Shiny?

Langara doesn't have snow days so I still have to be there at 8:30 even though we are going to get 6 more inches of snow %$#@#(*

 

Puyallup "early bird" swap is mid feb. Didn't make it last year but had a GREAT time the year before. It was wet and cold but we laughed alot. HAd a GREAT time bowling (thanks Badpat) maybe somebody should open up their shop on a saturday nite? I'll see what I can do.

 

Were comin over next weekend.Jan 16,17,18.I'll organize some sort of get-together with everyone like I usually do.It'll prolly be in Langley.Maybe at Drews place again.I'll letcha all know.Any bowlin places in Langley?.......Shiny

 

Don't know bout Langley but i know where there's some good ones in Abbotsford! hopefully this weather has improved by then.cool!

 

I'll be in vanouver on the 22nd and the 23rd, then i'm heading to the island for the 24th, flying back here on the 25th. maybe I'll see some of you while I'm there

Talked to Dirty D today in langley.Looks like bowling in Whiterock on saturday night would be kewl.We could all get-together in Langley before.Maybe at Dirty D's shop.I'll be there working on his model A I'm buildin him........Shiny

Yeah well almost ,I'm in the process of buying it of of 29EHV8,he's suppost to bring it over next weekend when he comes out.It's a 60 2 dr post with a louvered hood and no motor or trans.what year is yours?I've also got a customized 56 pontiac and a lowered 69 pontiac.the 60 is my new project,should be fun!

 

mine is a 62 sedan, I'm planing a full custom job on it but I have to get it running first, its a 1 owner car with 58,608 on it with a 283/powerglide

 

cool doesn't sound like it'll take much to get it goin,are ya gonna drive it this summer?

I hope to drive it as soon as I can get some cash to put into it. So spring or summer just to get it driving around and then I'll add to it as I drive it for how ever many years that takes.

 

Next weekend sounds good! You can count my dad and I in, just tell use the time and place.
