Be carful when you buy a restored carb!!

    Here the latest update on the issue:
    The old Rochester carb that came off the Oldsmobile intake manifold was cleaned and rebuilt. It sits on it s refurbished manifold again!
    We had problems with the accelerator pump, it did not provide enough fuel.
    So we took it apart again, change the rubber in there to a leather one and had to drill new holes into the pump lever away from the end of it, as the fuel quan***y was still not enough.
    Now it functions!!!!
    The car runs again I am soooo happy!

    Now that you have the HAMB, consult with the "gang" here first if you hit another hurdle. Welcome to the HAMB.
