Inspired by Blue's fancy bead rolling... I'm thinking about a couple removable heat shields for the glass panels in the sleeper. I was thinking about early ford V8 emblems, but making the round portions of the 8s seems like it would be a challenge with my manual crank bead roller. Any tips for success?

It’s all good Skier . Jamey Jordan has a YouTube on doing that v8 . I’ve done one , you will probably need someone to turn your handle as you need both hands on most circles . Let me know if you need anything . Should look like this when done . Let me know and I can mail you a paper layout . Blue

  5. Awesome panels in that- diamond pleats too! Pretty sure I’d be working I’m at least a sturdy driveline strap for that*****er, after seeing what a broken ujoint did to the bottom of my Chevy it’d be scary to wind that supercharged devil up and wring it out. (Just thinking out loud)

It’s all been finished with cover and tunnels.

I spotted this on a 1940 at a local car show.. Probably much more within my bead rolling talents.

What's that "sticky paper" Jamey Jordan is using for a template called?

Never saw that , when I’ve been around him , lastest at SEMA , he draws it out on paper then tapes it down to material and tracks it on the material with this little wheel that has points , used in sewing and it makes small dots in metal . Then he draws that pattern on it . I have used tattoo pattern paper and used it . Also have copies of art I get off internet and use tracing paper , then go over it with sharpie.
On a side note if you send me that rusted pan could you make a cordboard cutout templet of profile side to side and top to bottom. Blue
I’ve also been told that they make a transfer paper that will go through a printer . 200 miles to any place that might have it for me so I haven’t even looked .
