Now just how the hell is that possible? IF they invented a particular shade of purple or came about some proprietary way of making the color, I could see that. But to blanket statement "tradmark" a color?*********!
Wow i dont understand how that can fly?? Hey RF what did you find out about ryans car that burned... also what is the color on the top of you car or is it super secret?? my brother has a 55 chevy and he wants a color like that for the bottom?? btw: I think you had the nicest 49-54 chevy in paso. -Bigdaddy
Just a HEADS UP, I trademaked the word "the". Start sending your user fees to me. Looks like the SUNS will have to switch to orange and BEIGE. Oh, and I am working at trademarking green so watch out ElPolacko!
So what you're saying is that I can no longer go into a bar and use my favorite pick up line, "Hey baby would you like***** my big PURPLE end?" I guess I'm gonna have to come up a new line, it stinks because the old one got me so much action.
Well, I guess that means we will have to spell their word "perpull" and your word "tha" from now on now won't we? That way we can skirt the issue of royalties, huh? Maybe we should all trademark something and we'd make a bunch of dough on law suits of trademark infringements. What is this world coming to...anyway? Hmmm..."world"...uh huh! Michael
Crayola should have done that since they had all the shades covered. Now I guess they will be paying royalties to Royal Purple.
I think that just stops other oil companies from using the color Purple for any of their products. The same way Dewalt trademarked Yellow and Black. The color become synonymous with the Brand.
[ QUOTE ] "Hey baby would you like***** my big PURPLE end?" [/ QUOTE ] I think you holding on to it to tight I dont think its supposed to be purple
Okay, just to set the record straight: Porter, TX (June 25, 2004)After several years in the review process, Royal Purple has received a federal trademark for the exclusive use of purple containers. Now, Royal Purples high-performance, synthetic automotive and industrial lubricants are the only lubricants that can be packaged in purple containers. Dennis, you don't have to worry about putting a Royal Purple patch on your wool coat, that is unless you got oil in it!
Damn, I was working on a book of beatnik poetry featuring all the words that rhyme with purple (it's a companion piece to my previous work, "words that rhyme with orange").
Hypothetically I was working on a Dale Earnhardt TV movie that I am not supposed to be talking about...and his wife trademarked "3". But that's the name of the damn movie!!! So we were to use "Three" instead, but it's still pretty weak.

[ QUOTE ] ....Now, Royal Purples high-performance, synthetic automotive and industrial lubricants are the only lubricants that can be packaged in purple containers... [/ QUOTE ] That just covers lubricants for automotive applications and machinery, right?
What about SUPER CLEAN the degreaser it's in a purple container. love the stuff so good it takes off paint. (sorry about using the word "DE-GREASER")
