After telling everyone I likely wouldn’t make it to my hometown event, I had the good fortune to get home early enough to enjoy this well attended event today. Below are a small sample of the nice cars on display.
Always good to make it to some of these...especially when there's stuff we can relate to...thanks @AVater
Yes, even more: I even remembered to take a photo of my car. While I didn’t manage to get there early enough to see all the cars, I was able to see so many nice cars and more importantly, visit with a bunch of fine people.
Was a good day for a 340 mile round trip. Got off Pike in Lee, shot down 8 & 20 to Torrington. Traveled from there with Dave (black 61’ Vette) & Roger (red 62’ Vette). That path keep me from going through Springfield & Hartford “ Others Car Club “ does a great job. Thank You.
Stretch & Jim, Went looking for you guys and just plain got derailed talking to a bunch of people. Arriving late, having open headers drew some attention as I rumbled in. Your Nomad sure looks beautiful! Sorry to say there were other guys whose cars I saw but missed seeing their owners. For me, unfortunately, it looks like the end of the season for shows but hope to keep rolling down the two lanes. Until next season, stay well and best wishes.
Pete, good seeing you and Barbara again. Since we moved to Pennsylvania I realized how much I miss the people that I know, and used to see more frequently. I was a great turnout considering Saturday's weather. We stayed until after 2:00 PM, but it was worth it.
