I'm trying to find a replacement oil filter cartridge for my beehive oil filter other than ordering it from Speedway? Does anyone have any idea of cartridge that can be used in these.
    Thank You:confused:

I think same as regular flathead. Someone on Fordbarn just posted a whole stack of numbers for that:

    Here's some numbers:
    NAPA #1006
    Purolator #P-24
    Motorcraft #FL25
    Wix #51006
    Fram #C4
    AC #P209
    Ford #7HA6731A

Disregard if this is something like a Hildebrand full flow and not a byp***!

I believe it's the same part number as a stock oil filter cartridge. Maybe try Napa.

I went to Advanced Auto parts and ordered a stock filter and the measurements were different from the Beehive. The stock filter measured 4 1/4 inches by 4 3/4 inches. The original beehive filter measures 4 inches by 5 inches.

  5. I have a replacement element from Offenhauser on its way to me , when it arrives I'll add the part numbers off the box here if that helps .

I used the NAPA #1006, as mentioned by Bruce Lancaster above......it is the *right* one for the traditional Fillcoolator style beehive......

    Trust me.....

Thank You for all the help. I really do appreciate it.

  10. Please post what you find that works so that when someone does a search in the future they'll get the answer. I'd start with what Pops uses (a Wix 51006) and let us know.
