Hi All. Thought it to be high time I got in gear and registered on the HAMB. Glad to be here. I have a 1959 Ford 4 door Ranch Wagon that I am in the process of restoring. Quick specs are: Ch***is Lowered 7" on air shocks, Body channeled 3", Converted to 4 wheel disc brakes, swapped in 472 Big Block Ford / C6, etc. Picture below.

BTW: I do quite a bit of tech writing for OSR, and thought I would share with you all. Is the best way to post a tech article simply to start a new thread? Cheers.

Thanks for the welcome. I just posted 14 separate tech articles, making for about 50 printed pages. I hope you enjoy it. I start all my tech posts with "How To:" if you care to browse the articles. Cheers.

Well- I posted some of my tech hoping people would find it informative. Instead, I got flamed, accused of ripping it off, dismissed as incorrect, etc. I can do without that, so I think this is the last time I ever come back to the HAMB. Thanks to those who were welcoming; the others really do you all an injustice.

I think you ran into ole' Zman.....he's a heck of a guy on here.

However, if I had seen a new fella come on here and post that many techs and that they are so polished, I would have been su****ious of you just copying a mag article......but, I'm ***uming you wrote them....

You'll be fine, just read for a while before you post to get the "hang of it".......seriously

Zman didn't do anything wrong. YOU came on WAY too strong.
Don't worry about it Z...this whole deal almost smells like a setup.
I'm sure we'll be able to read about it all eventually anyway...

Hey Dude!?! Why take it so personally? Life's to short for that.

A lot of your "tech articles" are good stuff and very informative. BUT if you want to write these kind of things you must be prepared to take criticism on what other see as incorrect detail. You must be able to own up to possible mistakes or be prepared to defend why you wrote what you did. It doesn't help running away with your tail between your legs or to be overly sensitive of criticism because evrybody will then think you're an a$$.
