My wife and I are pretty much settled in now so I have been able to get back to work on the "parts car". Will post a few pics this weekend.

So tail light rings have been a huge hold up. I was going to use 34 ford rings and lens, but the fit and finish of the original mopar ring is super nice...and it simply bolts on to the bucket. I had one ring and needed a second which I finally found! The lens work really nice and bright which is a plus and the shape matches the headlights.

I like everything about it!!!!! Great Christmas Picture!

I have 39 Chevy tail lights which are similar however they have flatspots on the sides.

In all honesty I can't stand the "Happy Holidays" thing.

So I have been side tracked these last few weeks... I decided it was time to build a welding table and get my own welder. Both of which I need desperately if I'm going to make any more progress on the fordor.
Here is my pile of steel...

Hi Bob! Its not finished yet...Its getting there though. Its looking like something! I will take some pics tonight. I haven't purchased the top plate yet... I was originally going to use 1/4" plate, but noticed my friend's table flex...so now I'm thinking 1/2" top. Anybody have any input. 1/2" is way more pricy but I think it will be better in the long run.

Like your build. I built a table using 3/8 . It is 4'x 6' with 2x2 heavy wall tubing set in 2" around the parimeter No flex.

My friend has a small collection of these. The lenses and rings are the same, but the buckets are different lengths. I forget which is which, but one is almost twice as long as the other.

Got some more progress on the table. It rolls! All the bottom welds are done. Need to do alittle more welding on the top side...get the table top... and it will be finished!
