Haven't been on here for a while, but I'm back and hoping to get started on my '54 Customline soon. Have tons of parts for it, including an almost complete parts car.
As a machinist, I'm hoping to make some pretty trick parts for it when it goes together. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Start a build thread on the hokey**** board & keep up posted with your changes.
    Good luck, Jimmie

Yeah, I like the 52-53 much better than the '54 dash. First thing I bought for the new car was a '53 dash and a NOS '53 steering wheel w/ the 50 year anniversary medallion in the center.

  5. Love the car. What are you going to use for power? I will follow the thread.

It currently has a 302 out of a '69 Mustang in it with the factory 3 speed manual transmission. I've got a 5 speed manual trans in the garage for it, and will do some work here & there to beef up the 302 in it.

Reamed the lower balljoint holes at the shop on Tuesday & finally got a coat of Por15 on the Granada spindles today after work.
Hoping to get the front end broke down this weekend so I can blast everything, get painted & reassemble with all new everything.
Hammered low & disc brakes in the near future [emoji41]
