I'm a "Old Guy" about to retire. Glad I found this website!

Just started working on a 56 Ford Customline 4dr., 272, 3 spd. Bought it January 2016. 78,000 miles (supposedly original but haven't been able to verify that yet)....runs well but needs TLC...never restored but the interior was refreshed at some point. Built in Dallas and lived its life in Weatherford. Not quite sure which direction I'm headed on this car but I'm thinking "sleeper".

Well familiar with "wrenching". Got my start helping my dad restore a Model T when I was ~8 (well at least what he considered "restoration") and helped him fix lots of 50's cars for resale...up to the point that I got out on my own.

I have built and driven (successfully) several race cars in the past (mostly SCCA autocross/roadrace). Have modified and built engines, suspensions, tuned exhaust systems, revised combustion chambers, porting etc.
