Yep, for a little while, at least.

Foolin' with a couple never started/never ending projects, trying to find a way to mate up a 291 Desoto, 4-71 GMC lung w/a 6 deuce manifold, and a clutchflite in a '27 T- roadster. Have most of it except for the T itself...

Been messing with old Jeeps and MoPars mostly in the meantime, still collecting parts for the above project.

My father has a '40 Ford sedan, with a SBC (Meh), and a Mustang IFS that I have been itching to spray some flames and flat black on, and '29 A truck that really needs some attitude adjustment- don't think I can talk him into letting me swap the Desoto into it, however. BTW- that is him in the AA/FA in my avatar. 200 MpH with 93" of WB and no transmission- I have the greatest respect for the insanity level of the '60s altered drivers.

Well, that's it for now- trying to follow the rules here, as I am starting to post up (finally) on the boards. Yes, I know it is rambling and doesn't make too much sense, but I haven't had much sleep, and I'm kinda like that anyway ;)

Thanks for the welcome. I see a few familiar faces here. Some who know my alter ego (when it hasn't already been used on a BB, anyway) The '27 wouldn't really be an altered, like the old man's '23, but definitely would be old school. I love the looks of the DAK AA(BA)/FA, but I'm not too sure if even I am good enough at talking the officers out of the multitude of equipment violations I would be sure to receive running that thing on the street. (Though the old man got away with quite a bit with it back in the day- sometimes at night, too)
