Here's my T roadster before and after. The before pic has the turtle deck and '32 shell sitting on there for a mockup, it came with neither.

Pic taken in the exact same spot. The shop's yard got as much work done as the car did.

Not what you might call a project but this was the transformation of my 57 BelAir while in high school, my second car, it came with a 283 out of a 64 Impala that the previous owner had installed, had a Fenton shifted three speed when I bought it, soon swapped in a B/W T-10 with a new Hurst "C" shifter.
The Cragars were next along with a set of headers and shortly thereafter I snapped an axle and a week later I blew up the 3.08's from the ensuing shinannigans then put a 4.11 center back in it which then necessitated a "traction enhancer", money was short so had a friend help build some Lakewood style traction bars.
I soon tired of the bland beige paint and after a summer of yard mowing I had saved up for paint supplies and had a friend paint it yellow and white.
This was around 1971 and the Jenkins "Grump Lump" fiberglass hood scoop was on all the drag cars in the magazines and I had to have one but again no money so a friend helped pop off a copy from one I bought at the local speed shop that we carefully taped up, then returned it for my $30.00 back.
I acquired another hood and cut out the opening then glassed it on and gave it a rattle can primer and flame job, the car really got attention then.
