Keep your head up and your family close. I enjoyed reading your post and was glad you were able to work on the 55 together one more time. His love and your memories last forever. With deepest sympathy MrC.
Daddio, I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad and my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. You did as much for him as you could and Im sure made him VERY happy by getting the cars running and taking him for a ride. I lost my Dad in 1994 at the age of 63, taught me how to work with my hands. Lost my Mom in 1972 at age of 37 to cancer, I was 10. I know what you are feeling (as do a lot of others on here), just keep remembering the good times you had with him! Paul
I so sorry. I know the pain you're going through. The only thing that kept me from losing my mind was knowing that he'll never feel pain or sorrow again and that he's up there watching after me and being my guardian angel. RIP
So very saddened to hear about your dad. I'm glad his last days were filled with people he loved and cars he appreciated. I lost my father when he was 57 about 5 years ago. Still hurts but I spend more time laughing and smiling when thinking of him then I do crying so I think that says something about him. I'll say a prayer for your family and I hope you take comfort knowing that he's not in pain anymore. I can guarantee he was as proud as anyone of you and what you've become.
Sorry for you loss. It sounds like you and your father were very close. Your story reminded me of my father before on last year. Once again, you have my condolences.
Sorry to hear about your fathers passing Eric. He is now where the pain will no longer be an issue. Hang in there it will get better. Prayers for you and your family. Larry.
