  2. Take my Dad fishing in my '31 (I'm 34, he's 71)
    Take my Dad to Bonneville
Build a bike and run it at Bonneville with Dad (Don't care how fast I go I just want to be in the game.)
    Have kids
    Have grandkids

Cruise (truck or bike) in their entirety:
    US RT 51
    US RT 40
    US RT 66
    US RT 101
    Blue Ridge Parkway
    Great River Road

Drive or ride to and thru Alaska
Cruise Hawaii, and I don't mean in a boat!
Drive the National Parks tour in my old buggy. (about 3000 miles) There was a PBS special on it a few months ago. I can't remember the name of it but they drove thru all of the western National Parks, all in one shot back in the 20's or early 30's I think. Looked like a lot of fun.
Goto Hershey with an unlimited supply of cash!

OH YEAH! I almost forgot! Set a course record at the Newport Hill Climb!

    Damn straight!

Okay, car related? I want a early '80s Porsche 911SC. Hey, you asked. Yeah, and a naked Salma Hayek on the hood...or wherever.

I see going to Bonneville is a somewhat common reply on here. For various reasons I have a Bonneville car, Packard powered Vega, that I no longer take to the salt. However I usually let someone borrow it and my trailer if they seem trustworthy to me. Most years the person who borrows the car fails to get his act togeather and make the trip. This year was that way. If you are in this general area and are interested in 2010 let me know and we will talk.

I want to die at an extremely old age at the hands of a jealous eighteen year old husband in the back seat of a Tucker.

Sell my 32 roadster to a guy that would appreciate it as much as I have since 1962, & drive it as much as I have since completing it.
I think thats what Jack Lemmon would have said.
Sure did like that movie "Bucket list", puts things in real perspective!
One more trip across the USA in my roadster to Maine, then follow the Autumn color change South to Florida & return I-10 West to Ca. & then North to home in Oregon.

See gas prices return, like in 50's & 60's (35 cents per gallon)

I want a 54 buick special, and I want to spend one whole paycheck on my car before my wife gets ahold of it, and then proceed to laugh at her and get away with that too.

I'm at least part way finished...must be gettin' old.

    1. Build a hot rod from the ground up, by myself...DONE
    2. Drag race my hot rod...Done
    3. Help my wife (The Flower) build HER OWN hot rod...DONE
    4. Help my son chop the top of his '51 shoebox...DONE
    5. Make a "no time limit" Route 66 run in the hot rod...DONE (July 2009)
    6. Drive the hot rod to Alaska from SoCal to visit my brother.
    7. Drive my sedan to a record at Bonneville...or at least try!
    8. Hold the distinction of being the first car with whitewalls to hold a record at Pikes Peak...or at least enter & try.
    9. Live long enough to finish the 450 hp mini-truck (the same one my son won the 1996 NHRA High School Drags in) for my Grandson to drive to school when he gets into High School (he is only 7 right now).
    10. Drive my Grand-daughter to the wedding chapel in my hot rod...she is only 18 months old.

If I can complete all of these, take me...I'm ready.

Just think...you'll only need to sell about 200 of those $8,500.00 Cadillacs you're selling to come near buying a vintage Ferrari racer..........:D
