If you're in a major metropolitan area, you'd be surprised how much you can make participating in market research "focus groups". Once you get signed up, it's surprising how many calls you can get (they seem to run in spurts) and you'll get paid anywhere from $75-300 (cash) for a couple hours time.

I've found it much more lucrative than stuffing envelopes at home.

Actually I dont have any car payments I dont smoke and buy pieces where I find em as I can afford em.
Other thatn cars and beer I really dont have a lot of bad habits.

i dont have a daily, so i have no way to get to work, therefore i have no job. only income i have is when i occassionally get free motorcycles and part them out (MUCH easier to part out a motorcycle than a car, can strip them down and store them in those plastic storage bins from walmart)

i am currently looking for the cheapest POS daily i can find. maybe that will last me a couple months and i will get a better daily...then all my money will be going to my 56

 

I've yet to beg, borrow or steal to get extra money, I just thought it was a catchy thread title. I've taken on extra work all winter and been selling off stuff like crazy. I can't decide whether to look into a loan or not. Probably not. I don't like payments that much.

We are getting ready for the busy season at my job which translates to long hours and lots of overtime so I'm looking forward to the extra $$ (the extra headaches and strain on my sanity is another story but its managable).

To late on the Mac 'N Cheese, I'm already there. Tony's Pizza's at $2 apiece are usually good for a days worth of food too.

A friend of mines wife has a Camaro she's had for 25 years (bought it new). Last few years its been just sitting collecting dust. My buddy asked her if she wanted to sell it to buy something else. Her response, "I ate alot of Saltine Crackers and drank alot of water to afford that car, no f*&%#@! way."

 

The crapy thing about that is, you will be the same kinda broke! I know from experience!
