Whatever you want to call it,
    I need some examples.
Doing the Low Flying A in tan and my paint guy
    wants a id number.

Any stock cars have anything close to Hot Rod Beige?

Please post some pics along with the year and make of the color.

    Thanks,
    Craig

Find a photo of the 30-31 Ford Coupe from New Jersey with the #150 on the doors, that is a perfect color IMO.

One of the hardest colors to find that matches the color in your head. I built a 36 sedan and painted it Corvette Buckskin. It came out F'n yellow.

A few years later when I built this 34 P/U I did lots of research to find that special color that looks pretty and clean. I settled on a color, had it mixed and it turned out to be F'n yellow. I went back to the store for some other reason and they had a gallon in the bargain bin that was mistake. it was a dull brown. I took it home and mixed the 2 together and this is what came out. Since it could never be repeated, my buddy named it "Tommy's Turkey turd tan". I liked it. It was so frustrating for me but it turned out OK.
