Bell-housing id...need help

    I have a bell-housing with casting numbers "AJ 6394 C " Anyone know what this belongs to ?.....John in CT

    Did you ever figure out what it is? usually if you post a couple pictures of the part, some guys will recognize it, even if they don't know the numbers

    My 49-59 Ford parts manual does not list these casting markings so I presume that it is later than 1959.

    0C4 is March 4th, 1950 or 1960. Since it looks like it's for a Y block or FE it's most likely 1960.

    A clear pic of the other side might help figure it out, at least we could see what engine it bolts to

    It's definitely 239-312 Y-block Ford. I have two with the same casting numbers that came off late '50s 292s. :)
